Job details

Engineering Project Manager Huron Park, ON | Permanent | $90,000–$100,000 We’re hiring an Engineering Project Manager on behalf of our manufacturing client in Huron Park, Ontario. This is not a role where you simply keep a project tracker updated. You’ll be responsible for taking manufacturing engineering projects from concept through implementation, bringing together technical requirements, budgets, timelines, suppliers, customers, and internal teams to make sure the project actually gets across the finish line. It’s a strong fit for someone who enjoys being close to the technical side of manufacturing, but also knows how to keep people, priorities, and projects moving. What you’ll be doing You’ll work closely with Engineering, Management, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams to: Lead manufacturing engineering projects from planning through successful implementation Define technical scope, requirements, specifications, resources, budgets, schedules, and deliverables Manage multiple projects at different stages while keeping priorities clear Monitor milestones, risks, costs, and overall project progress Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and drive them through to resolution Support new product development from quotation through program launch Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements Work with vendors and obtain quotations for project requirements Prepare project documentation, technical reports, status updates, and presentations Communicate customer expectations clearly to internal Engineering teams Provide leadership, guidance, and coordination to project team members Support divisional projects and initiatives, including international travel when required What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone with a solid manufacturing engineering foundation who can operate comfortably between the technical details and the bigger project picture. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally in an engineering or project-focused environment Experience managing manufacturing engineering projects involving CNC equipment, automation, assembly, and/or high-pressure die casting Knowledge of manufacturing standards and quality systems including IATF 16949, VDA, ISO 9001, PPAP, FMEA, and APQP Working knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong project planning, organization, coordination, and technical documentation skills Strong written and verbal communication Nice to have: P.Eng. designation Experience in an office or engineering environment within manufacturing Experience supporting customer-facing projects What’s in it for you $90,000–$100,000, depending on experience Full-time, permanent position Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Fully onsite in Huron Park Employee perks and discount program Retirement plan with 1.5% employee contribution and 6% employer contribution Benefits coverage Up to $250/year safety boot allowance Uniforms provided depending on the role/department Professional development opportunities GoodLife Fitness corporate partnership discount Exposure to projects supporting other divisions and international operations A note on the person we’re looking for You’ll probably do well here if you’re organized without being overly rigid, technically strong without getting lost in the weeds, and comfortable taking ownership when something needs to be figured out. You’ll be working across different teams, different priorities, and different stakeholders, so communication matters just as much as technical knowledge. Location is important. This is a fully onsite role in Huron Park, so candidates need to be comfortable with the commute and with occasional international travel when business needs require it. Interested in hearing more? Apply directly or send your resume to us for consideration. We’re hiring on behalf of our client and will be happy to share additional company details with shortlisted candidates.
