CLEANING OFFICER

About The Role We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Officer to join our Facilities team. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across client sites, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces, and waste removal. Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and office spaces. Replenish consumables including toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies. Operate cleaning equipment safely (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums, sweepers). Ensure all cleaning tasks meet company and client quality standards. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages. Follow site-specific requirements, schedules, and WHS guidelines. Support team members and assist in additional tasks as required. Skills & Experience Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience (preferred but not essential). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills and a professional attitude. Ability to perform manual tasks and handle cleaning equipment. Required Qualifications White Card (preferred but not essential). Police Check or Working With Children Check may be required depending on site. Valid driver’s licence (advantage but not required). What We Offer Supportive and friendly team environment.
