Accounting & Finance Subject Matter Expert – AI Training Location: Remote Language: Strong written English communication skills Duration: Initial 4-week contract, with potential for ongoing opportunities Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week Schedule: Flexible, self-directed About the Opportunity We're seeking experienced Accounting and Finance professionals for a fully remote opportunity supporting the training and improvement of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. This project offers the chance to apply your technical expertise, analytical skills, and professional judgment to innovative work at the intersection of finance and emerging technology. Whether your background is in accounting, audit, taxation, financial reporting, investments, banking, or quantitative finance, you'll contribute to improving how AI systems interpret complex financial information. The initial contract is four weeks, with flexible scheduling and potential for ongoing opportunities. Your Responsibilities • You'll apply accounting and financial expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated analyses, explanations, and solutions. • You'll review financial statements, accounting transactions, financial models, calculations, investment scenarios, and business cases. • You'll assess information for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with applicable accounting standards and financial principles. • You'll identify errors, unsupported assumptions, and weaknesses in financial or accounting reasoning. • You'll solve technical, analytical, and quantitative problems, providing clear explanations and recommendations. • You'll follow project guidelines and quality standards while independently managing your workload. Skills and Qualifications • Professional experience in accounting, audit, taxation, FP&A, financial reporting, banking, investments, capital markets, insurance, or related financial disciplines. • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, Mathematics, or a related field. • Strong understanding of financial analysis, accounting principles, financial statements, quantitative concepts, or investment evaluation, depending on your specialization. • Knowledge of IFRS, U.S. GAAP, or other applicable accounting standards for accounting-focused professionals. • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, written communication, and professional judgment. • Familiarity with generative AI tools, confidence using digital platforms, and the ability to work independently. • Professional credentials such as CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, CFA, MBA, actuarial designation, or relevant advanced qualifications are considered assets.
