This permanent opportunity with a growing organization in the service and distribution sector offers the chance to work closely with an experienced HR Manager while building hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle. Supporting approximately 100 employees across Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia, you’ll become a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers. You’ll balance day-to-day HR administration with meaningful involvement in projects related to health and safety, employee programs, policies, workforce planning and process improvements. Your Responsibilities • You’ll act as a first point of contact for employees, responding to day-to-day HR questions and providing timely support. • You’ll coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, HRIS updates and other employee lifecycle activities. • You’ll support health and safety administration, working with operational leaders to coordinate requirements and help reduce workplace injuries. • You’ll maintain accurate and confidential employee information while supporting benefits, leaves and employment-related changes. • You’ll contribute to HR projects involving policies, processes, employee programs and workforce initiatives. • You’ll support employees and managers across multiple Canadian provinces, including Quebec. Skills and Qualifications • 2+ years of hands-on Human Resources experience, ideally as an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, HR Representative or junior HR Generalist. • Professional fluency in both English and French, written and spoken. • Practical HR experience supporting employees in Quebec and familiarity with Quebec employment requirements. • Previous health and safety administration or coordination experience. • Experience working in a distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, field service or similar industrial environment. • Post-secondary education in Human Resources and strong knowledge of Canadian employment standards and HR practices. • Strong organization, communication and judgment, with the ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
