Who we need We are looking for a Salesforce Product & Delivery Lead to join our Enterprise Business Applications team. You will take ownership of the Salesforce backlog and bring greater structure, transparency, and accountability to how business needs move from initial request through prioritization, development, release, and adoption. This is not a traditional project management role. You will operate as a hands-on product owner and delivery lead, partnering closely with business stakeholders to understand what they need, translate competing priorities into a clear and actionable backlog, and work with Business Analysts and Developers to move the right work forward. You will balance business value with team capacity, facilitate prioritization and release decisions, manage dependencies, and ensure stakeholders understand what is being delivered, when, and why. You will be joining a team that is evolving how it supports the business and delivers enterprise applications. There is an opportunity to establish stronger product ownership practices, create more effective intake and prioritization processes, and build trust between the business and technology teams. You will become a key point of connection across functions, bringing the confidence to challenge requests, make trade-offs visible, and keep stakeholders aligned while maintaining momentum on steady-state enhancements and small-to-mid-sized projects. This is an opportunity for someone who understands Salesforce as more than a technology platform and can connect its capabilities to real business needs. You bring a combination of product ownership, stakeholder management, and delivery expertise, along with the judgement to navigate competing priorities and the drive to create a more disciplined, predictable, and trusted approach to Salesforce delivery. This is a remote role based in the Eastern Time Zone, with a preference for candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area. What’s in it for you Ownership and impact. This is an opportunity to step into a role where you can directly influence how Salesforce work is prioritized, planned, and delivered. You will help establish stronger product ownership practices, bring structure to the backlog and intake process, and create greater visibility around priorities, capacity, and delivery. Your work will have a tangible impact on how effectively the Enterprise Business Applications team supports the organization. A role with breadth. You will have the opportunity to combine strategic product ownership with hands-on delivery leadership rather than being limited to a traditional Project Manager or Product Owner mandate. From shaping and prioritizing the backlog to coordinating releases, managing dependencies, supporting testing and acceptance, and keeping stakeholders aligned, you will have visibility across the full delivery lifecycle. Influence and visibility. You will become a trusted connection between business stakeholders and the applications team, working across functions to understand needs, facilitate prioritization decisions, and communicate trade-offs clearly. You will have the opportunity to build relationships across the organization while helping business partners better understand how Salesforce capabilities, priorities, and team capacity come together. A chance to build and improve. You will join a team that recognizes where greater structure and support are needed and is actively investing in improving how work gets done. Rather than stepping into a rigidly established process, you will have the opportunity to bring your experience and ideas forward, strengthen product and delivery practices, and help create a more predictable and trusted approach to Salesforce delivery. As our new Salesforce Product & Delivery Lead, you will: Own the Salesforce backlog. Lead the intake and prioritization process from initial business request through triage, validation, and delivery. Maintain a single, clearly prioritized backlog and ensure stakeholders understand what is moving forward, what is deferred, and why. Lead business prioritization. Bring stakeholders together to evaluate competing requests against business value, effort, dependencies, and available capacity. Facilitate informed decisions, challenge priorities when needed, and make trade-offs transparent. Turn business needs into actionable work. Partner with business owners to understand their requirements, help frame demand clearly, and work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to translate priorities into user stories, acceptance criteria, and deliverable solutions. Plan and coordinate delivery. Manage steady-state enhancements and small-to-mid-sized projects, sequencing releases against team capacity, maintaining reliable forecasts, and identifying potential conflicts or delivery risks before they result in delays. Manage dependencies and delivery activities. Coordinate across business functions, technical teams, integrations, and third-party partners. Lead delivery ceremonies, track progress, escalate risks, and provide clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership. Drive testing, acceptance, and adoption. Coordinate testing cycles and formal business acceptance, ensuring delivered solutions align with agreed requirements and supporting the transition from delivery through sign-off and adoption. Build trusted stakeholder relationships. Act as a primary point of contact between the business and the applications team. Communicate priorities, risks, sequencing decisions, and changes early and clearly while building confidence through consistent and reliable delivery. Develop deep Salesforce business knowledge. Build an understanding of how Salesforce supports sales, service, marketing, customer engagement, and related processes across the organization, using that knowledge to help stakeholders make informed decisions about enhancements and priorities. You bring: The experience. You have 5+ years of experience in product ownership, delivery management, or a similar role, with meaningful hands-on experience working with Salesforce. You understand how to take ownership of work from initial business demand through prioritization, delivery, acceptance, and sign-off. The product ownership expertise. You have experience owning and managing a prioritized backlog across multiple business stakeholders, particularly in environments where demand exceeds available capacity. You can translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria and bring structure and discipline to intake, prioritization, and planning. The Salesforce knowledge. You have a strong working knowledge of Salesforce as a business platform and understand how organizations leverage it across functions such as Sales, Service, Marketing, customer engagement, CPQ, or quote-to-cash. Salesforce certification is an asset. The delivery capabilities. You have experience delivering enhancements and projects on enterprise business platforms, including release planning, dependency management, forecasting, testing coordination, risk escalation, and formal business acceptance. You know how to balance competing priorities against finite team capacity while maintaining momentum and accountability. The stakeholder leadership. You are comfortable facilitating prioritization discussions with senior stakeholders, asking thoughtful questions, challenging requests, and communicating when work needs to be deferred or declined. You can explain the rationale behind decisions and build confidence even when priorities compete. The communication skills. You are a clear and thoughtful communicator who can build trusted relationships across business and technical teams, including in a remote environment. You are comfortable acting as the face of the applications team and translating between business needs and technical delivery. The technical toolkit. You have experience using backlog and delivery management tools. Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred, although experience with comparable platforms is welcome. The education. You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience. Nice to Have You have a Salesforce certification and broader exposure to how Salesforce supports Sales, Service, Marketing, CPQ, quote-to-cash, or related customer and commercial processes. Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog and delivery management is an asset, although experience with comparable tools is equally valuable. Apply now If you're excited about this role but your experience aligns differently with every requirement, we encourage you to apply. While specific qualifications may be strictly required, others can be based on various experiences, backgrounds, and knowledge. We can't promise an interview, but we will consider your whole application. What you can expect from our interview process: A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor to discuss your experience, interests, and what you are looking for in your next opportunity. A virtual interview with members of the Enterprise Business Applications team, including the Director of Enterprise Business Applications and the Lead Business Analyst. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the team, the Salesforce environment, and the day-to-day scope of the role while sharing more about your product ownership, delivery, and collaboration experience. A final virtual interview with the Director, Enterprise Business Applications, and potentially another member of the team. This will be an opportunity to further discuss your approach to product and delivery leadership, stakeholder relationships, and how you can contribute to the team’s evolving Salesforce practices.
