Accommodations provided What you’ll do as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic: Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and perform other routine maintenance work Ensure repairs and maintenance follow all provincial and federal transportation safety regulations and guidelines Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices Complete work orders upon completion of each job Train operators to maintain vehicles while in the field Field service calls as required to support our fleet Ensure the shop is maintained and clean What you bring to the Team: 2-3 years industry experience Provide your own tools for shop use Registered HET Apprentice or Journeyperson in Alberta (or province transferrable) is required Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be required Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Skilled in problem-solving techniques Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test CVIP License an asset but not required Class 1 or 3 license an asset but not required Field service experience an asset but not required H2S, First Aid an asset but will supply We have a great preventative maintenance program that is respected by the company. Requirements

Candidates must have 2-3 years of industry experience and hold a registered HET Apprentice or Journeyperson status in Alberta. A valid driver's license is required, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test is mandatory.
