We are growing our tank cleaning business in Canada and are looking for an experienced Tank Cleaning Project Manager to join our team in Calgary or Edmonton. The Opportunity The Tank Cleaning Project Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, estimating, execution, and closeout of tank cleaning projects across North America. This role will work closely with clients, operations, estimating, safety, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing industrial projects and understands the challenges associated with tank cleaning, industrial maintenance, turnarounds, or related energy-sector work. Key Responsibilities Manage tank cleaning projects from initial estimate and planning through execution and final closeout. Develop project estimates, scopes of work, budgets, schedules, manpower requirements, equipment requirements, and execution plans. Review client specifications, drawings, work scopes, and tender documents to develop accurate estimates. Coordinate project mobilization, equipment, subcontractors, materials, and field personnel. Lead project execution and provide direction to Project Supervisors and field teams. Maintain regular communication with clients and serve as the primary project contact during execution. Monitor project costs, productivity, schedule, change orders, and overall profitability. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities. Work closely with Health & Safety to ensure projects meet Ambipar and client safety requirements. Coordinate waste handling, transportation, and disposal requirements where applicable. Prepare and manage project documentation, daily reports, progress reports, timesheets, and cost tracking. Identify additional work opportunities and communicate change-order requirements to the client. Participate in pre-job meetings, site visits, kickoff meetings, and project reviews. Support the Business Development and estimating teams with upcoming opportunities and client proposals. Complete project closeout, including financial reconciliation, lessons learned, and client follow-up. Travel to project sites across Canada as required. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of project management experience within industrial services, oil & gas, energy, environmental services, tank cleaning, turnarounds, industrial maintenance, or a related field. Experience estimating industrial projects and developing detailed project budgets. Strong understanding of project scheduling, manpower planning, equipment requirements, and cost control. Experience working with industrial clients and contractors. Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements within industrial and energy-sector environments. Ability to read and understand project scopes, specifications, drawings, and tender documents. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Project. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites across Canada. Previous tank cleaning experience is strongly preferred. What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
