ABOUT THE ROLE Amrize is currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Flag Person to join our team in our aggregate’s pits. This is a part-time, temporary position ideal for someone who is committed to maintaining a safe work environment. This is a contract position till October 31st, 2026. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH * Directing traffic and equipment movement within the pits * Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times * Assist in daily safety meetings * Be self-motivated and dependable * Communicating effectively with equipment operators and site personnel * Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Work Experience: Previous flagging experience is an asset but not required. Required Training/Certifications: Class-5 license and own means of transportation is required. Travel Requirements: Drive between Stoney Trail & Glendale Locations Additional Requirements: * Able to work from Monday to Saturday, 4-8/hour days, 6:00 AM start. * Ability to stand for extended periods of time. * Must be able to work outdoors and tolerate a variety of weather conditions, including rain and heat * Willing to work while being exposed to dust, dirt, varying temperatures, loud noises, etc. * Oral communication * Able to work well with others WHAT WE OFFER * An inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can be themselves * A collaborative work culture in a supportive and team-oriented work environment * Company-provided personal protective equipment ensuring your safety and comfort on the job where applicable As part of our dedicated focus on the health and safety of all employees, a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, will be required
