Job Title: Site Operator | Req ID: 18300 | HR Contact: Safa SAYED | Location: Stoney Creek CemTrml ON ABOUT THE ROLE The responsibility of this position is the hands-on operation of the site equipment and daily operating functions of the site as directed by site management. WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH Processes Bill of Ladings. Proficient in trouble shooting site equipment failures Strong computer-based office functions and generate requested reports. Assumes responsibilities for terminal operation during absence of supervisor. Maintains the terminal in a clean and presentable state. Ensure that the plant and surrounding site is kept safe, presentable and functional. Practices and maintains full compliance with Amrize Health & Safety policies and procedures. Ensure safe and efficient operations for all site equipment (Mobile and Heavy equipment such as Mill Circuit & Aggregates Dryer Circuit, Front End Loader, and Truck Mobile) within Standard Operating Procedure for site. General & preventative work on all site equipment. Performs all other duties and functions requested by site management associated with the operation of the facility so long as those duties do not present a safety hazard Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Education: Canadian secondary school diploma or equivalent Post-secondary education an asset Required Work Experience & Skills: License to operate heavy equipment an asset 2-5 years relevant work experience an asset Heavy equipment operation experiences an asset G Driver’s license Strong computer literacy Good written and verbal communications Good time management, self-directed Ability to work alone and with others Additional Requirements: Knowledge of Cement or construction an asset Proficiency with various computer applications is a definite asset Certificate or knowledge in (First Aid, Surface Miner, Confined Space, Working at Height and LOTOTO) an asset Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
