Join Gray Monk Estate Winery as a Wine Educator, where you’ll play a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences. As a spirited brand ambassador, you'll educate clients about our wines, encourage sales, and inspire Wine Club memberships—all while embodying the essence of our brand. This is a part-time role however through winter we may have up to 30 hours per week available and the role would go to full time in Spring and Summer. What this teammate will be responsible for - Host Memorable Guest Experiences Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and create inclusive introductions. Gauge guests' wine knowledge and interests to tailor their experience. Present and explain wine flights, sharing engaging stories about our wines, Wine Club, restaurant, events, and exclusive experiences. Assist guests with packaging purchases, organizing shipments, and providing information on gift sets and accessories. Drive Sales and Memberships Actively work towards achieving individual and team sales goals. Promote Wine Club memberships, encouraging loyalty and ongoing engagement. What this teammate will bring - A genuine passion for customer service, with a focus on building lasting relationships. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to make wine education accessible and enjoyable. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards. A positive, “Can Do” attitude, especially under pressure. Experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is preferred. Wine knowledge or certifications (e.g., WSET 2/3, ISG/CAPS, CMS) is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential! Work Environment & Expectations Work in a dynamic, active indoor setting including tasting bars, retail spaces, and event venues. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (cases of wine) and move between different areas of the property. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
