You Have a knack for fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders – tenants and shopping centre customers, suppliers and the property team Have proven that you are highly capable of multi-tasking Are an independent self-starter with a strong work ethic Are a forward-thinking problem solver with the confidence to take charge and initiate You will Conduct regular property inspections of a portfolio of mixed-use commercial retail and office based out of and including Market Square Perform basic repairs and maintenance including minor plumbing repairs, light replacement, minor irrigation system repairs, carpentry repairs, minor, electrical repairs, pressure washing, minor paving repairs and painting Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical systems Complete maintenance logs, delegate work orders and tracks results Assist with on-site event set ups Coordinate preventative maintenance program for the base building facilities and common areas Clean common areas as needed, including courtyard, washrooms, common area decking and office areas Remove and dispose of dumping at the properties and assist with litter picking, and recycling Landscaping as needed including watering plants, weed eating, pruning etc. Oversee storm system maintenance, fire & life safety systems, irrigation, exterior lighting and other systems as required Work with the PM team to oversee contractors’ work for quality of workmanship and adherence to scope of work and meeting with contractors for estimates and planning Maintain inventory levels of maintenance team supplies including equipment and supplies drop off and pickup as required Assist with emergency preparedness planning and creation of documentation Assist the Property Manager with preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets Establish strong relationships with tenants and provide a proactive, exemplary level of service Assist the property team with co-ordination of tenant move-ins and move-outs and work with construction team on tenant buildouts or Landlord’s work Work collaboratively with other team members in leasing, asset management and construction and all other stakeholders Works with all PMs to ensure all projects run smoothly Be on call for property emergencies Provide vacation relief to the property teams Other duties as assigned by property teams You have Geat skills working with the public Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. No problem working outdoors in a variety of weather - a good majority of our properties are open public spaces Transportation to visit properties as assigned Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) Proven maintenance experience Ability to use ladders, and have an opportunity to train for boom lift operation High school diploma or GED preferred Experience in similar roles Participate in on-call rotation as needed Pay range: $70,000 - $75,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications Founded in 1991, Anthem is a team of 850+ people driven by creativity, passion and direct communication. Requirements

Candidates should have proven maintenance experience, proficiency with hand and power tools, and strong computer skills in Microsoft Office. The role requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and participate in an on-call rotation.
