Job summary

Reporting to the Supervisor of Programming, the CNC Programmer is responsible to produce and update CNC Programs. In order to achieve that, the CNC Programmer will need to interpret mechanical drawings, create new, improve and update CNC programs, and support continuous improvement for programming efficiency gains. Responsibilities * Read and interpret customer and internal drawings, specifications, and work orders to develop CNC machining programs and fixture designs. * Create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs and tooling solutions to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes. * Source and coordinate required tooling and materials needed for production. * Ensure all programming and setup documentation meets customer specifications and manufacturing requirements. * Maintain accurate production records, program revisions, and ERP/work order documentation. * Communicate job details, setup changes, and production updates effectively with machinists and leadership. * Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to manufacturing methods and processes. * Perform additional duties and provide operational support as required by leadership. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS * Completed training program in CNC Programing for Mastercam * Minimum 2 years of CNC Programing experience * Ability to read mechanical drawings, GD&T is an asset * Comfortable using ERP software, experience with JobBOSS is an asset. * Ability to create manufacturing drawing based on customer supplied model base definitions * Very organized, efficient, and able to prioritize work. * Innovative and open to change and improvements. * Team player with strong communication and influencing skills * The duties, responsibilities and qualification described in this document are not a comprehensive list. Requirements

Candidates must have a completed Mastercam training program and at least 2 years of CNC programming experience. Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and experience with ERP software like JobBOSS are highly valued.
