Job summary
Our client, a well established leader in electrical construction and technology solutions, is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join its Technology Division in Victoria, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for a structured cabling and low voltage professional looking to take ownership of projects from estimation through to successful delivery. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial, institutional, and industrial projects while collaborating with experienced technical and project teams in a highly respected organization. What You'll Be Doing Lead structured cabling and low voltage projects from estimating through project completion Prepare competitive bids, quotations, and tender submissions Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables Review contracts, permits, procurement requirements, and project documentation Coordinate project startup requirements including safety, QA/QC, environmental documentation, insurance, and bonding Work closely with field teams, foremen, and superintendents to ensure successful project execution Monitor project financial performance, reporting, and client satisfaction What We're Looking For 5+ years of project management and estimating experience within structured cabling, telecommunications, or low voltage systems Strong technical understanding of structured cabling and low voltage infrastructure Experience working with major manufacturers such as Corning, Belden, CommScope, or Panduit Proficiency with estimating software, ideally Accubid Electrical TQ considered an asset Experience with Microsoft Office and Procore Self motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities independently Nice to Have Experience across both project management and estimating functions Background supporting commercial, institutional, or industrial construction projects Contract review experience Victoria based or open to relocation, with regular site presence required What's In It For You?
