Job summary
We’re looking for a Service Technician to join our team and provide reliable, hands-on maintenance support across a diverse portfolio of residential properties. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and likes the idea of no two days being exactly the same. Working with our Service Team, you’ll travel to different properties throughout the portfolio, responding to service requests, completing repairs and maintenance, conducting inspections, and helping keep our buildings safe, clean, and well maintained. You’ll work independently while also being part of a supportive team that takes pride in delivering excellent service to our residents, property managers, and communities. Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of general building repairs and maintenance, including painting, drywall repairs, door adjustments and repairs, flooring, tile and grout repairs, and other building-related tasks Complete minor electrical repairs and maintenance, such as replacing light switches, light fixtures, smoke detectors, and similar items, where permitted Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance, including replacing toilets, faucets, and other fixtures Respond to service requests promptly and professionally, providing friendly and courteous service to residents and property teams Complete unit inspections and identify and report deficiencies or required repairs to the Property Manager Perform preventative maintenance and help identify potential issues before they become larger problems Assist with property maintenance duties, which may include groundskeeping, cleaning, garbage and recycling room maintenance, and preparing bins for collection Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency on-call schedule Provide daily coverage at designated properties when needed Required Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of building maintenance experience General knowledge and hands-on experience with building repairs and maintenance Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions Strong customer service and communication skills Professional, courteous, and approachable manner when interacting with residents, clients, and team members Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to organize and prioritize work while working independently Ability to travel between multiple properties throughout the day Own tools required Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle is required Criminal record check required Why Apollo?
