In this role, you will be responsible for driving regional revenue growth, expanding our client portfolio, and managing a team of high-performing Account Executives and Business Development Managers. The ideal candidate possesses deep experience in the staffing industry, understands the unique operational differences between high-volume contingent workforce solutions and high-margin direct-hire placements, and has a proven track record of scaling territory sales. You will play a crucial role in building strategic partnerships with enterprise and mid-market accounts, ensuring our regional teams effectively solve client talent shortages. 💡 Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development Drive regional revenue growth across temporary staffing (contract/contingent) and permanent hire (direct placement) services. Identify and secure new corporate partnerships, mid-market logos, and enterprise-level service agreements within the region. Design tailored staffing solutions that address specific client pain points, including VMS/MSP management, master service agreements (MSAs), and volume tier pricing models. Monitor regional market trends and competitor activities to position our staffing solutions aggressively. Team Leadership & Performance Management Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a regional team of Sales Representatives and Account Managers. Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, including outbound calls, client meetings, job orders secured, and gross margin targets. Conduct weekly pipeline reviews and field coaching sessions to help team members overcome negotiation hurdles and close deals. Operations & Financial Management Forecast quarterly and annual revenue, net fee income, and headcount needs for both temporary and permanent divisions. Manage the regional sales budget and optimize the cost of acquisition for new client accounts. Collaborate closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure job orders are realistic, clear, and perfectly aligned with available candidate pipelines. Ensure all commercial contracts comply with employment laws, co-employment regulations, and company risk guidelines. Skills and Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years explicitly in a leadership role within the staffing and recruitment industry. Industry Knowledge: Deep operational understanding of bill rates, pay rates, statutory markups, and margin structures across temporary staffing and permanent placement fees. Leadership: Proven ability to manage decentralized or remote sales teams spread across multiple territories. Communication: Exceptional presentation, contract negotiation, and relationship-building skills at the Executive/C-Suite level. Tools: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Staffing ATS software (e.g., Bullhorn, Avionté) alongside strong analytical skills in MS Excel. Travel: Ability to travel up to 40-50% within the designated region to support team members and meet clients face-to-face. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. What We Offer Competitive base salary with an uncapped regional overrides and commission structure. Comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance. RRSP matching program Car allowance or mileage reimbursement, plus company-paid travel expenses.
