Role : Business Systems Analyst -10+ with Banking Experience Location: Toronto Job Type: Contract Hybrid - 4 Days 1 round In-person interview Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong background in the Banking/Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the successful delivery of banking applications and projects. Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements. Work with business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers. Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories. Analyze business processes and recommend improvements. Support system integration, UAT, and production deployments. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions. Ensure solutions align with business objectives and banking regulations. Required Skills 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst. Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain. Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and system integrations is an asset. Preferred Banking Experience Retail Banking Commercial Banking Digital Banking Payments Lending Credit Cards Core Banking AML/KYC (preferred) Education Bachelor's degree
