Hi, Hope you are doing well! We have an immediate contract opportunity with one of our esteemed clients for a Data Analyst position. ROLE: DATA ANALYST Location: Mississauga, ON – ONSITE CONTRACT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 10 & ABOVE We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support business decision-making through meaningful insights derived from data. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Excel, data visualization, data analysis, statistical techniques, and data modeling. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Collect, process, and analyze data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide actionable business insights. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. • Monitor data processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and communicate findings to cross-functional teams. • Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and quality across systems and reports. • Present complex data and analytical findings in a clear and concise manner. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. • 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Excel. • Experience with at least one data visualization/BI tool such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau. • Familiarity with statistical techniques and data modeling. • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights. A bachelor's degree in a related field, familiarity with statistical techniques and data modeling, and strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills are required.
