Job Title: Tandem / Mainframe Developer Location: Toronto, ON Duration: Contract (Hybrid) Requirement: Immediate Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Tandem/Mainframe Developer to join the RBC team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Tandem/HP NonStop and Mainframe technologies, preferably within the banking or financial services domain. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain applications on Tandem/HP NonStop and Mainframe platforms. Analyze business and technical requirements and develop appropriate solutions. Perform coding, testing, debugging, and production support. Troubleshoot application and system issues. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver application changes. Support application enhancements, maintenance, and releases. Prepare technical documentation as required. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Tandem / HP NonStop. Experience in Mainframe development. Knowledge of COBOL and JCL. Experience with application development, testing, and production support. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Banking/Financial Services experience preferred. Preferred: Experience working with RBC or other major banking environments. Experience with Tandem COBOL, NonStop, TAL, or related technologies. Ability to join immediately.
