JOB DESCRIPTION Aramark is currently looking for a Cook for Abbvie’s Food Service Position: Cook LOCATION: Abbvie (8401 Trans‑Canada Highway, Saint‑Laurent, QC H4S 1Z1) WAGE: $20.00/hour SCHEDULE / HOURS: Monday to Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. START DATE: Immediate JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Cook and prepare a variety of food items * Prepare salads for the salad bar and catering services * Prepare catering sandwiches * Perform mise en place * Assemble catering trays * Assist with inventory counts * Participate in food service operations * Demonstrate creativity while respecting client requirements * Ensure high‑quality food service and customer satisfaction * Prepare high‑end meals for the hot table * Optimize food and labour costs * Ensure the implementation of management, health, hygiene, and food safety programs * Monitor and maintain service quality and customer satisfaction * Be able to respond to operational needs QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service or restaurant operations * Catering preparation experience is an asset * Strong organizational skills and a structured, detail‑oriented approach to daily work * MAPAQ food hygiene and sanitation certificate (an asset) * Ability to work as part of a team * Ability to work independently * Positive attitude * Customer service–oriented Benefits of Working at Aramark: * Medical and life insurance * Dental insurance * Employee referral program * Employee recognition program * Training and development * Career advancement opportunities * Work uniforms and meals provided The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and, when applicable, a vulnerable sector background check. The Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of food items, including salads, sandwiches, and high-end meals for the hot table and catering services. They must ensure high-quality food service, maintain hygiene standards, and optimize food and labor costs.

Candidates need a minimum of 3 years of experience in food service or restaurant operations, with catering experience being an asset. A MAPAQ food hygiene and sanitation certificate is preferred.
