JOB DESCRIPTION Aramark is currently seeking a Cook for the Food Services Department at John Abbott College in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. LOCATION: John Abbott College (21 275 Lakeshore Road, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC H9X 3L9) POSITION: Cook SALARY: $21.11/hour SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (following the academic calendar) START DATE: August 2026 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and cook the daily menu according to production guidelines and standardized recipes. * Responsible for preparing and setting up the salad bar * Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction. * Cook and finish items on the menu. * Participate in station setup. * Help optimize food costs. * Monitor and record food temperatures. * Prepare food items for catering events. * Participate in ordering and inventory processes. * Assist with organizing and storing deliveries according to established standards. * Ensure proper food rotation at service stations and when receiving orders. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures. * Assist in promoting various marketing and promotional initiatives. * Perform any other related duties required to support food service operations. QUALIFICATIONS * 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is considered an asset. * Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate is an asset. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under supervision. * Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks. * Positive attitude, punctuality, honesty, and good judgment. * Customer service oriented. * Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset and will be highly considered. Candidates should ideally have 2 to 3 years of food service experience and a MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate. Strong organizational skills and bilingualism in French and English are highly valued.
