Overview Languages English Education Master's degree Experience 2 years to less than 3 years On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks Award construction contracts to building contractors Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered Generate building plans and detailed drawings to be used by contractors and tradespersons Participate in contract negotiations Prepare documents showing both the structural needs and the materials required for construction Supervise the preparation of drawings, specifications and other construction documents for use by contractors and tradespersons Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs and construction schedules Prepare sketches and models Conduct feasibility studies of building projects Monitor activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with specifications Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects
