Description Armour Transportation Systems is currently seeking a professional and safety-focused Highway Driver based out of Fredericton, NB.This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy consistent highway work and a predictable schedule. Drivers will operate a tractor-trailer on a dedicated day run, transporting freight through the Fredericton highway and a designated terminal and customer locations. What You'll Do Operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer in a safe and professional manner. Complete scheduled highway runs in designated terminal and customer locations. Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate driver logs and required transportation documentation. Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal personnel and customers. What You’ll Need Valid Class 1 driver's license. Minimum 2 years previous tractor-trailer experience. Clean driver's abstract and criminal record check. Strong knowledge of local and regional routes. Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable, professional, and dependable work ethic.
