We have a delivery truck driver opening in Calgary and are looking for the best to join our team. This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions. In this position you will: Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.). Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times. Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving. Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials). Unload and accurately receive incoming product. Requirements: Valid driver's license (required). Air Brake/”Q” Endorsement (strongly preferred) or the ability to obtain this endorsement. Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred). Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar. Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment. Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.). Ability to meet and comply with driver regulations. Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s s driver standards Must be 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent. The Details: This position is Monday - Friday from 7am – 4pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries are needed. The pay rate is $28-30/hr based on experience. .
