Competition # 2026-094 Category: Full-Time – Term Closing Date: October 12, 2026 Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Service Delivery and the IRS Program Coordinator, the Cultural Workshop Facilitator will be responsible for setting up weekly cultural/traditional workshops for the IRS IDS 60’s Scoop Survivors and their families. Qualifications: • Knowledge of First Nation’s cultural values and traditions. • Experience interacting with a diverse group of individuals. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently and co-operatively as part of a team. • Punctual, dependable and reliable. • Able to follow directions in a timely fashion. • Working in a confidential work selling. • Be well organized. • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is preferred. • Proficient in basic computer skills. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. • Willingness to travel, as needed. • Flexible working evenings and weekends, if required. Duties: • Organize cultural workshops on topics relevant to cultural and spirituality. • Contacting workshop presenters/Knowledge Keepers to facilitate cultural workshops. • Drafting up informational posters on all upcoming workshops. • Contacting and following up with clients who have signed up for workshops, to confirm their attendance. • Keeping track records of workshops completed, names and contact information of participants, including sign in sheets, bus ticket distribution. • Ordering snack food, ensuring materials are on hand for workshops and keeping inventory. • Create and continuous update a “Calendar of Workshop Activities”, posting and distributing. • Set up, clean up before and after each workshop. • Assist at the Eagles Nest Youth Program, as required. Located off site. • Prepare payments for presenters and food vendors (cheque requisitions). • Be a team player. • Other duties as assigned.
