Competition # 2026-098 Category: Full Time - Term Closing: Open Until Filled POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Service Delivery of the Eagle Urban Transition Center, the Program Coordinator - Elder Housing provides oversight of the elder housing program within the Eagle Urban Transition Centre (EUTC). The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating operations, overseeing elder-focused programming and housing, and supporting minor case planning and case management. The Program Coordinator works collaboratively with the Elder Housing staff and community partners, to ensure coordinated programming, aligned schedules, and meaningful activities that support positive outcomes for Elders in housing. KEY ACTIVITIES: Provide day-to-day and operational oversight of the Elder Housing Unit. Supervise Elder Housing programming, ensuring activities are aligned with program objectives, culturally responsive, and Elder-centered. Assist clients in identifying options and developing plans of action while providing ongoing guidance, support, and follow-up. Participate in client intake, selection, and admission to appropriate programs. Assist in implementing cultural activities, traditional teachings and ceremonies, drum making medicines, moccasin making, beading, sweat and land based activities. Implement life skills workshops, substance abuse treatment programs, behavior management programs, elder programs and services and other community-based Initiatives. Maintain incident reports, case notes, and program documentation. Maintain program statistics for evaluation, reporting, and research purposes. Assist with program budgets, supply inventory, and purchasing supplies. Support management with reporting, unit planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledgeable of rental properties, Tenancy Residential Board policies and housing in general. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Completion of a college or university program in social work, child and elder care, psychology or other social science or health-related discipline is usually required. • Previous work experience in a social service environment as a volunteer or in a support capacity may replace formal education requirements for some occupations in this unit group.
