Role Description The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Langley, BC. This role is responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts by visiting customers and prospects across the region, presenting AFAS products and services, and providing recommendations that meet industry-specific safety requirements. Day-to-day activities include scheduling and conducting sales calls and site visits, delivering product demonstrations, preparing quotes, and following up to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction. The representative will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate deliveries, manage account information, and resolve customer inquiries promptly. This role also involves monitoring market trends, identifying new opportunities, and representing AFAS professionally at all times to strengthen its presence in the First Aid & Safety market. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Sales Presentations skills to effectively demonstrate products and explain safety solutions to diverse audiences. Candidates should possess Relationship Building and Customer Service skills to maintain long-term client partnerships and provide responsive support. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, and active listening abilities. Candidates should possess New Business Development skills to identify prospects, qualify opportunities, and convert leads into ongoing accounts. Valid driver’s license and comfort with regular travel for customer visits and site calls. Previous experience in outside sales, preferably in safety supplies, industrial products, or related B2B environments. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a territory and prioritize multiple accounts. Proficiency with basic office software and CRM tools for tracking leads, opportunities, and account activity. Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and uphold workplace health and safety standards.
