Job details

About Asyma Asyma Solutions Ltd. is a growing boutique Professional Services organization focused on cloud financial management software, implementation, training, support, and long-term customer success. Our Construction practice is a strategic growth lane built around strong design, project governance, team collaboration, clear customer outcomes, and continuous improvement. This role is for a professional who understands construction business processes, enjoys solving problems, takes pride in accurate implementation work, and wants to continue developing Sage Intacct Construction expertise within a strong team environment. Seat Purpose The Sage Intacct Construction Implementation Specialist translates approved customer requirements and design decisions into accurate, tested, documented, and customer-ready Sage Intacct Construction solutions. The Specialist works closely with the Project Manager, Senior Construction Specialist, and other implementors to execute configuration, testing, training, and go-live activities within Asyma's delivery standards. Success means assigned work moves forward reliably, risks are surfaced early, customers understand how to use the solution, and project knowledge is documented well enough that delivery does not depend on any one individual. Core Accountabilities Implementation Execution Assigned configuration and implementation work is completed accurately and on time. Construction Workflow Application Construction processes are understood and translated into practical system configuration. Testing & Training Solutions are validated before client use and customers are trained on complete processes. Documentation & Governance Work, decisions, risks, and configuration are visible and properly documented. Team Contribution The Specialist collaborates, asks for help appropriately, shares knowledge, and contributes to practice improvement. Key Responsibilities 1. Sage Intacct Construction Implementation Configure Sage Intacct Construction and related modules according to approved scope and documented design. Execute implementation work across job costing, project accounting, budgets, commitments and purchasing, AP / AR, change orders, progress billing, retainage, project reporting, and dimensional structures. Translate customer business requirements into effective system setup within the approved solution design. Perform data setup, configuration, testing, issue resolution, and implementation support. Support production readiness, go-live, and stabilization activities. Identify configuration issues, requirements gaps, and technical uncertainty early. 2. Construction Workflow Understanding Understand how construction transactions flow through the business and financial system, including budget of record, commitments, cost capture, project financials, revenue and billing, change orders, retainage, and project reporting. Ask clarifying questions when business requirements or design decisions are unclear. Recognize when a request appears outside approved scope and escalate it rather than implementing it informally. 3. Testing, Training & Customer Support Test configuration and end-to-end scenarios before customer-facing activity. Prepare training environments, examples, and supporting material in advance. Deliver clear, structured customer training and confirm customers can successfully complete key processes. Explain construction, accounting, and system concepts in practical language. Communicate professionally and clearly with customers throughout assigned work. 4. Documentation & Delivery Governance Maintain accurate project documentation using Asyma standards and approved tools. Document configuration completed, decisions, assumptions, issues, risks, and outstanding actions. Follow project sign-off, testing, change-control, and readiness requirements. Make assigned work and current status visible to the Project Manager and broader delivery team. Do not implement undocumented or unapproved scope changes; escalate blockers, workload concerns, technical uncertainty, or missed commitments early. 5. Team & Practice Contribution Work effectively with Project Managers, Senior Specialists, implementors, Sales, Support, Sage, and third-party vendors. Execute clearly defined work packages and confirm understanding before beginning unfamiliar work. Seek guidance when technical depth exceeds current knowledge rather than silently compensating or guessing. Participate in internal training, Practice Development, demonstrations, and knowledge sharing. Capture reusable lessons, configuration knowledge, testing scenarios, or training materials that strengthen the Construction practice. Support pre-sales discovery and demonstrations when Construction expertise is required. Accountable For Accurate and timely completion of assigned implementation work. Configuration aligned with approved design and thoroughly tested before customer use. Clear customer training, clean project documentation, and early identification of risks and blockers. Professional customer communication and disciplined adherence to scope and governance. Reliable collaboration with the broader project team and continuous development of Sage Intacct Construction expertise. The role does not own final project schedules, commercial scope, change-order approval, project margin, resource allocation, or overall Project Management accountability. Requirements Sage Intacct certification strongly preferred; expected to obtain where not already held. Sage Intacct Construction certification strongly preferred. 3+ years of financial-system, accounting-software, ERP, or implementation experience preferred. Sound accounting knowledge and ability to understand GL and reporting implications of configuration decisions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage assigned deliverables independently while remaining aligned with project leadership. Comfort with structured project plans, documentation standards, testing requirements, and governance. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills; Smartsheet or similar project-management experience is an asset. Critical Competencies Construction Understanding Understands how construction projects and financial transactions move through the business. Implementation Discipline Configures, tests, documents, and completes work methodically. Ownership Follows through on commitments without repeated management intervention. Communication Makes progress, questions, and risks visible. Technical Curiosity Actively learns and develops deeper Sage Intacct Construction capability. Team Orientation Collaborates effectively and shares knowledge rather than operating in isolation. Professional Judgment Knows when to proceed independently and when to escalate. Success in This Role Looks Like Assigned work is completed accurately and predictably, with configuration tested before reaching the customer. The Project Manager can easily understand current status and remaining work. Issues are raised early instead of appearing at training or go-live. Customers experience structured, understandable training and professional support.
