Intermediate Manual Software Tester (hybrid in Ottawa)

6 month hybrid contract (1 day a week in Ottawa client office) Reliability Status clearance required (or be eligible to obtain one) Job Description Compile and debug applications and programs Perform manual software testing Compile information for and write portions of technical reports and program documentation Develop and document manual software testing plans Execute and document results of manual software application tests and information and systems tests Create testing plans in collaboration with project teams Develop documentation of test procedures Create and prioritize bug reports with clear reproduction steps Use a suite of testing tools to ensure the accessibility and responsiveness of websites and applications Facilitate the UAT process and issue triage Work closely with other software testers, designers and developers Education / Certifications Post‑secondary education in a computer science related program (Diploma or BSc preferred) ACCESSIBILITY We’re committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and accessible workplace where every team member feels valued, respected, and supported, and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
