Competition Number: 2026-063 Position: Project Manager Department: Planning and Infrastructure Employment Status: Contract – ending Mach 31, 2027 Salary: $36- $48/HR – 35 Hours per Week Location: Naughton, ON Closing Date: October 2, 2026, at 4:00pm **AT THIS TIME, WE WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM CURRENT INTERNAL EMPLOYEES AND BAND MEMBERS** POSITION SCOPE: The Project Manager will be responsible for developing detailed project plans as directed by the Director of Planning and Infrastructure. The project manager will define the scope of projects, conduct risk analyses and assign team members to specific tasks. The project manager will be accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. All of this takes place within the framework of achieving Atikameksheng Anishnawbek goals. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Business, or related field of study for a significant amount of time 5+ years of work experience in project management preferably in a First Nations environment Certificate in Project Management CPIC is required at the time of offer KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Communicating with the Director of Planning and Infrastructure and any other stakeholders to define the needs and objectives for a project Creating project plans that include details such as objectives, budget, timelines, and personnel Identifying, evaluating, and choosing vendors and consultants to satisfy project requirements Delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members Comply with federal and provincial Privacy Acts and Laws We offer attractive benefits, opportunities for advancement and an engaging work environment.
