Job summary

JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW The Senior Project Manager - Highways will provide senior level technical direction, mentor and support junior to intermediate staff, contribute to management initiatives, and serve as a key contact with clients. Experience in a Project Management role with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) is required. In addition, liaising with regulatory agencies, networking with other professionals and new business development. YOUR ROLE * Manage Highway Design projects in Ontario, leading a team of engineers, designers, other disciplines & consultants to meet MTO requirements. * Maintain project budgets, schedules, risk registers. * Communications with project team, client staff and project stakeholders. * Lead technical proposals for highway design pursuits and similar transportation engineering work. * Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and all applicable standards, codes and regulations. * Maintain required quality system standards and procedures. * Embrace and actively support behaviour-based workplace health and safety policies. ABOUT YOU * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Ontario. * Highway engineering knowledge and skills recognized by the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, sufficient for approval in MTO RAQS. * Minimum 10 years’ demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary highway planning and design projects, particularly northern Ontario highways. Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary highway planning and design projects being recognized as Project Manager by MTO. * Computer Skills - MS Office, AutoCAD, OpenRoads, and other relevant industry-standard tools. * Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $120,000 - $160,000 annually (Only Applicable to Ontario). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Requirements

Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and be a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario. They should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in highway planning and design projects, with at least 3 years recognized as a Project Manager by MTO.
