We pride ourselves on high-quality food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for motivated and skilled Sushi Bar staff to join our team from September. This role involves preparing high-quality sushi and sashimi dishes, maintaining excellent food presentation standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the sushi bar. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and present sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to August 8’s standards. * Ensure freshness, quality, and consistency of ingredients. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. * Follow company SOPs (standard operating procedures) for portion control, waste management, and presentation. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS * Previous experience as a Sushi Chef, Sushi Cook, or relevant culinary position preferred (training may be provided for entry-level). * Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques. * Strong knife skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. * Team player with good communication skills. * Candidates with Nepali language skills are especially encouraged to apply, as this aligns with our current staffing needs and internal communication practices.
