In this position, the Automotive Service Lot Attendant will be responsible for transporting customers as needed, cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles owned by customers and those that will be placed into inventory. Success in this role will require someone who has the physical capabilities to effectively maneuver around, under, and inside the vehicle to ensure a thorough and satisfactory detail has been completed. What drives your day-to-day? * Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed * Building and grounds maintenance as needed * Service and Sales Department duties * Daily Organization and parking of vehicles for sale and service department * Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer * Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately * Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks * Pick up parts from the Parts Department * Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed * Cleaning off vehicle exteriors based on seasonal needs (i.e. snow removal) * Identify any lot merchandising needs or issues to the appropriate manager * Placing signage in and on vehicles for advertising purposes * Monitoring and organizing vehicles daily based on their progress in the reconditioning process * Lot tidiness (garbage clearing, etc) * Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles * Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing * Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free, including showroom displays * Deliver dealer trades to neighboring stores and drive customers home as necessary What are the must-haves… * High school diploma or GED * Interest in automotive industry, and knowledgeable about vehicles * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record * Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles * Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset * Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively * Excellent customer service skills The Perks. * Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package * Employee Vehicle Purchase & Service Plans * Employee and Family Assistance Programs * Company-wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year * Professional development and the opportunity to grow your career And those are just the basics. Compensation The expected range of compensation for this position is $18.25 – $19.75 Hourly — No bonus. The Automotive Service Lot Attendant is responsible for detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors, as well as organizing and maintaining the dealership lot. They also assist with transporting customers and dealership personnel while ensuring vehicles are prepared for sale or service.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The role requires the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles and the physical capability to perform detailed vehicle cleaning.
