What drives your day-to-day? * Bookkeeping * Account reconciliation * Compilation of financial statements * Filing and payment of various sales taxes * Assist other team members * Some administrative work * Various projects as required What are the must haves… * Some work experience in accounting related roles. Need to know how to apply accounting concepts in real world situations * Very sound accounting knowledge. Needs to understand concept of job costing, accruals, prepaids, receivables, payables and how intercompany transactions and personal items are handled. * Experience in using accounting software such as QBO or Sage for data processing and reconciliation * Good understanding of how GST/HST works.
