Atholville Mill is currently recruiting for the following position: Red Seal Pipefitter (1st Class) The Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of low/rich pressure piping systems and their components. Key Responsibilities include: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial piping systems for steam, condensate, water, compressed air, chemicals, and process fluids. Install, inspect, and repair pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam traps, pressure-reducing stations, and associated mechanical equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on piping systems and mechanical equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime. Monitor and adjust system operating conditions, including pressure, temperature, flow, and fluid levels. Participate in maintenance shutdowns, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with operations and other maintenance trades to support safe and reliable mill operations. Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications Graduate of grade twelve high school course along with maintaining a 1st class Pipefitter license. Experience considered an asset. Preference will be given to those with multiple trades. Must be willing to work overtime and take calls. Why AV Group NB Inc.?
