Avanciers Incorporated is hiring Business Analyst for one of our clients. · Role: Business Analyst, Capital Markets (Derivatives & Fixed Income) · Location: Montréal, QC (Hybrid: minimum 2 days/week in-office) · Contract Duration: 12 months · Hours: 37.5 billing hours/week · Pay Rate: CAD $70.00 – $80.00/hr + HST · Language Requirements: Fluent French This is an active job and application deadline is Oct 31, 2026 (This posting may close earlier if a suitable candidate is found) Key Requirements & Candidate Ideal Profile · Domain Expertise: Minimum 5 years of BA experience in Capital Markets, with heavy hands-on exposure to Derivatives and Fixed Income. · Trade Lifecycle Knowledge: End-to-end understanding spanning front office trading desks, pricing model logic, quantitative inputs, settlement, compliance, regulatory reporting, and accounting. · Phase & Technical Focus: Feasibility, business architecture design, creating requirement registers, and driving upstream RFI/RFP vendor evaluation processes. · Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to interface effortlessly with Traders, Quantitative Developers, Compliance Officers, and IT teams without requiring on-the-job domain training. · Executive Presence: Strong leadership posture—systematic meeting prep, ability to drive consensus to secure decisions, and deliver high-visibility executive presentations.
