Northern Ontario Avenir is seeking a Director, Technical Services to provide technical leadership across our portfolio of critical minerals projects, including the Martison Phosphate and Lake George Antimony projects. Reporting to the Vice President, Technical Operations, this role will be responsible for the technical integrity, integration, and quality of development studies while guiding projects through key development milestones. What You'll Do Provide strategic technical leadership across geology, mining, metallurgy, engineering, infrastructure, and project development activities. Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and external partners to deliver high-quality technical studies and project outcomes. Oversee Scoping Studies, PEAs, PFSs, Feasibility Studies, and other development-stage evaluations. Ensure alignment between mine planning, metallurgy, environmental requirements, permitting strategies, infrastructure development, and project economics. Identify technical risks, opportunities, and value optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle. Support technical due diligence, acquisitions, partnerships, and future growth opportunities. Engage with executive leadership, investors, governments, Indigenous communities, and strategic partners to communicate project progress and development outcomes. Mentor and develop technical teams while fostering collaboration across projects. What You'll Bring 12+ years of progressive experience in mining, engineering, technical services, project development, or operations, including senior leadership experience. Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline. P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation preferred. Proven experience advancing mining projects through PEA, PFS, and Feasibility stages. Strong understanding of mine development, geology, metallurgy, processing, infrastructure, project economics, and risk management. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and engineering firms. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and technical reporting skills. Knowledge of Canadian permitting, environmental assessment, and regulatory processes. Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, responsible development, and Indigenous partnerships. Requirements

Requires over 12 years of progressive experience in mining or engineering with a relevant degree and preferably a P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation. Must have a proven track record of advancing mining projects through various development stages and managing external consultants.
