Northern Ontario Avenir Minerals is seeking an Exploration Lead to provide geological leadership for the Martison Phosphate Project, a large-scale critical minerals development project near Hearst, Ontario. Reporting to the Project Study Manager, this role will lead exploration, resource definition, geological modelling, and Mineral Resource Estimate activities that support project advancement. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute exploration and resource-definition drilling programs. Oversee geological interpretation, target evaluation, 3D modelling, and resource estimation activities. Manage geological databases, QA/QC programs, and technical data governance. Coordinate with mine planning, metallurgy, ESG, permitting, and project development teams. Manage consultants, drilling contractors, laboratories, and technical service providers. Support Indigenous and community engagement through clear communication of technical information. Promote safe, environmentally responsible field operations. Qualifications Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline; P.Geo. designation preferred. 10+ years of experience in mineral exploration, resource geology, and project development. Strong expertise in drill program execution, geological modelling, resource estimation, and QA/QC. Experience leading field teams, consultants, and contractors. Knowledge of Canadian permitting, regulatory, and land access requirements. Excellent communication and technical reporting skills. English required; French is an asset. Why Join Avenir? Requirements
