We are currently seeking a qualified Integration & Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will support Integration, Test & Verification (ITV) activities for complex, mission-critical systems by developing and executing test procedures, validating system requirements, and supporting in-house and field commissioning activities. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, this individual will help ensure system functionality, performance, and reliability through rigorous testing, defect analysis, and verification activities. Location: Toronto, ON Job Type: Full Time Working Arrangement: Hybrid Responsibilities Develop and execute test cases, procedures, and reports based on system requirements. Support system integration, verification, validation, and commissioning activities. Perform in-house and field testing and document test results. Investigate test failures, analyze defects, and support issue resolution. Create defect reports and maintain requirements traceability. Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement of test processes. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience testing software, hardware, embedded, or real-time systems. Knowledge of verification, validation, integration, and test methodologies. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience with railway signaling or other safety-critical systems would be an asset. Familiarity with automated testing and test scripting would be an asset. Knowledge of SelTrac or similar train control/signaling systems would be an asset. Understanding of the full Verification & Validation lifecycle would be an asset.
