Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical User Safety & Risk Operations Agent to investigate, assess, and resolve complex cases involving online safety, abuse, fraud, and policy violations. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, empathy, and investigative skills to help create a safer platform for users. Key Responsibilities Content Moderation Review and enforce platform policies using manual and AI-assisted moderation tools. Investigate escalated reports involving harmful or policy-violating content. Review user appeals and make accurate, well-documented decisions. Risk & Abuse Prevention Identify and investigate scams, spam, account compromises, and coordinated abuse. Analyze suspicious activity and emerging abuse patterns. Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend improvements. Fraud Investigation Detect fraudulent accounts, payment fraud, chargebacks, and other suspicious activity. Analyze fraud trends and provide insights to strengthen prevention efforts. Escalate high-risk cases and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Legal, Fraud, Risk Operations, or a related field. High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills. Excellent written communication and documentation skills. Ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous or high-risk situations. Ability to handle sensitive or difficult content professionally and empathetically. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving policies. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Generative AI products and potential misuse. Experience with investigative tools such as login history, API logs, account activity, or secure PII-handling systems. Experience in fraud detection, abuse prevention, investigations, or platform integrity. Schedule & Training Full-time: 35–44 hours per week Rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 4+ weeks of paid training with ongoing coaching and professional development.
