We are looking for a positive and caring individual to fill the position of: *School Bus Driver* Qualifications: · Patience and a desire to make a difference in a child?s life · A minimum of a G class license (we provide a FREE license upgrade) · Hold a valid (non-probationary) driver's license with a very good driving record · Display safe and defensive driving techniques · Ability to work independently · Demonstrate excellent customer service skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English · Undergo & Pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination, criminal record search, vulnerable sector clearance, driver?s abstract and other background checks Responsibilities: · Safely drive students to and from school during the school year · Communicate clearly and interact with parents, school employees, passengers, co-workers and the public in a courteous and professional manner · Ensure safe work practices are being followed · Report any injuries, collisions or property damage that occurs immediately · Follow procedures and complete required paperwork · Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle safety inspections · Other duties as assigned Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; sitting for extended periods; Hours of work are within 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (September to June) on school days only; 3.5 hours daily minimum paid *Some of the Extras:* *Competitive Wages; Automatic Buses; FREE License Upgrade; Potential to park bus at home; Extra assignments may be available at other locations; We Will Train; Driver Retention Program; Extra Pay for Cleaning* *This position is for anyone looking for part-time hours and is also ideal for retirees, self-employed people with flexible schedules, or stay-at-home parents (bring your kids on the bus)* *No Evenings, Weekends or Holidays and Summer Off!* To learn more about Badder visit us at: www.badderbus.com *NOTE: We thank all applicants for applying; however only those selected for an interview will be contacted. *Accommodations for disabilities in relation to the job selection process are available upon request.
