We pride ourselves on promoting talent when we see it, and work with each professional to define what success means for them.” Your role: Prepare Cross-Border (US and Canadian) individual income tax returns; Participate in an in-depth, in-house, Cross-Border tax training “boot-camp” to equip you with the specialized skills to prepare Cross-Border tax returns; Collaborate with and support team members in providing excellent client service; Build and nurture strong working relationships with staff, partners and clients; Participate in special projects as assigned by partner or senior staff. What you bring to the table: Working towards or completion of a bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (Accounting major preferred) Working towards completion of pre-requisite courses for the CPA PEP Familiarity with basic accounting concepts (balance sheet, income statement, etc.) You are an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills Have an interest in accounting and tax work Be a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail You have strong interpersonal skills and are an excellent problem solver You are proficient in, and willing to learn various computer applications. Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview and TaxPrep is an asset (but not required) What’s in it for you? Requirements
