We're looking for an organised and proactive Demi Chef de Partie to join our busy Central Kitchen team. Supporting multiple cafés across our operation, you'll play a key role in preparing fresh grab-and-go products, batch-cooked fillings, and café favourites that keep our outlets stocked throughout the day. This is an ideal opportunity for a chef who enjoys working independently, thinking ahead, and taking ownership of their section. Every day brings variety, from preparing handcrafted sandwiches and wraps to cooking fresh fillings and supporting our pastry team when needed. What You'll Do Prepare fresh sandwiches, wraps, rolls, salads, savoury café items, and other grab-and-go products. Prepare high-quality batch-cooked fillings and components, including roasted meats, chicken, eggs, bacon, sausage, vegetarian options, sauces, and spreads. Plan and prioritise daily production to ensure our cafés are replenished with the right products at the right time. Work closely with café teams to monitor stock levels, respond to changing demand, and maintain the right balance of products across all locations. Follow recipes and production schedules to deliver consistent quality and presentation. Assist with bakery and pastry preparation as required, supporting the wider Central Kitchen team. Organise, label, and prepare products for distribution to our cafés. Monitor inventory, rotate stock, minimise waste, and maintain an organised and efficient kitchen. What We're Looking For Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, café, hotel, catering, or high-volume food preparation environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead, prioritise tasks, and stay ahead of demand. Confidence working independently while contributing to a collaborative team. Experience with batch cooking, café production, or high-volume food preparation is highly desirable. A genuine passion for producing fresh, high-quality food with consistency and attention to detail. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
