Bare Wire Recycling purchases all grades of commercial, industrial, communication, and residential wire, as well as related scrap ferrous materials generated during construction. Since opening its first drop-off location in Calgary in 2014, the company has expanded to three locations and consistently offers drop-off clients at least 10% more for their materials. Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Saskatoon, SK, responsible for driving wire and scrap material purchases and building lasting relationships with commercial, industrial, communication, and residential clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting on-site visits, presenting Bare Wire Recycling’s services and pricing, and negotiating purchase agreements aligned with current market values. The role involves providing responsive customer service, answering inquiries, coordinating with operations teams for pickups and drop-offs, and ensuring accurate documentation of transactions. The Sales Specialist will also maintain sales records, contribute to local marketing initiatives, and collaborate with management to meet revenue targets and support continuous improvement in service delivery. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with diverse customers and internal teams. Proven Customer Service experience, with the ability to build trust, handle inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Demonstrated Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, closing deals, and working toward defined sales targets. Experience in Training and Sales Management, such as coaching team members, supporting onboarding, or contributing to sales processes and best practices. Knowledge of recycling, construction, or industrial materials is an asset; willingness to learn wire grades and market pricing is essential. Comfort working in an on-site, field-focused environment, including visiting customer locations and drop-off centers. Basic proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools and common office software. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel; ability to meet physical demands of occasional material inspection. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
