Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Glazier role based in Ontario, Canada. The Glazier will install, repair, and replace glass in windows, doors, storefronts, curtain walls, and interior glazing systems, ensuring precise measurements and high-quality finishes. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting drawings, cutting and fitting glass and aluminum components, sealing and securing units, and safely handling materials and tools. The role involves collaborating with installers and fabricators in the shop and on job sites, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and adhering to company and industry safety standards. The Glazier will also interact with clients and site supervisors in a professional manner, supporting Barrie Regional Glass’s reputation for reliable service and workmanship. Qualifications Strong glazing skills, including installation and repair of glass for windows and doors. Experience working with window and door systems, including aluminum frames and hardware. Ability to perform basic auto glass work is an asset. Demonstrated customer service skills when interacting with clients and site contacts. Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and fitting glass and related materials with attention to detail. Knowledge of construction drawings and ability to interpret specifications. Understanding of workplace safety practices and safe material handling. Previous experience as a glazier or in a related glass, construction, or trades role. Physical ability to lift glass and materials, work at heights, and use hand and power tools. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various job sites in Ontario.
