Job summary

The transporter is responsible for moving and discharging patients to their appropriate destinations within the hospital. They also perform equipment maintenance and provide basic life support during emergency situations.

Summary: Non-licensed member of the health team whose main responsibility is to transport and discharge patients to their appropriate destinations. Other functions include equipment maintenance and performance of basic life support (BLS) in an emergency situation. Demonstrates the ability to work independently. Requirements

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a Basic Life Support certification. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not strictly required.
