Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our amazing team working in the Hamilton area hospitals. We’re ready when you are! Under the direction of facility nursing staff, you will perform floor and observational care duties - helping to create an environment that promotes optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12hour shift. This is a Casual position with flexible shifts. Qualifications Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held to the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve. * Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or enrolled in a Nursing pathway program or a Nursing student * CPI Certification required (Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training Certificate) - preferred * Clinical experience as a PSW within the past 2 years * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and N95 Mast Fit Test Certificate * Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV), Hepatitis B, and Tdap/Td * Proof of negative TB skin test within the past (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years * Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. Requirements

Requires a Personal Support Worker certificate or enrollment in a nursing program, along with current BLS and N95 fit test certifications. Candidates must also possess CPI certification and be willing to undergo a vulnerable sector police check.
