This position offers an exciting opportunity to support Anti-Money Laundering (AML) operations within a leading financial institution. As a Risk Analyst II, you will analyze transactional activity, identify potential risks, and contribute to the organization’s efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing. Pay rate range (CAD): $40.75/hr - $48.90/hr Responsibilities Conduct analysis of transactional activity to detect risks, identify trends, and flag potential suspicious activity. Prioritize and manage workload to meet required service levels for efficiency and accuracy. Escalate high-risk or non-standard transactions in accordance with compliance protocols. Stay informed of relevant regulations and ensure adherence to AML and sanctions laws. Provide technical expertise and operational support on AML/ATF and sanctions-related matters. Review information against various lists and guidelines to ensure compliance and flag deviations. Handle activities involving multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions with attention to detail. Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency. Ensure due diligence procedures support transaction accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with internal teams and external contacts as needed, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Support a positive team environment by actively participating and sharing knowledge. Uphold internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Foster a culture of risk awareness and control through adherence to policies and effective processes. Desired Skill-Set 2+ years of risk analyst experience or equivalent in AML operations. Fundamental knowledge of AML standards, procedures, laws, and regulations. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to research, organize, and prioritize tasks. Strong discretion handling confidential information. Effective verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail. Nice to Have Experience within banking or financial services. CAMS or ACFCS certification. Requirements

Candidates should have strong analytical, research, communication, prioritization, and confidentiality skills; banking experience and CAMS or ACFCS certification are preferred.
