Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Trade Settlement Representative specializing in Mutual Funds and FundServ. This position involves managing daily trade settlements, resolving transaction discrepancies, and ensuring compliance within a fast-paced, high-risk environment. Pay rate range (CAD): $17.60/hr – $30.71/hr Responsibilities Process mutual fund trades and settlements accurately and efficiently. Investigate and resolve transaction breaks, discrepancies, and exceptions. Handle FundServ transactions and facilitate money movements. Utilize Excel macros to support operational workflows and improve efficiency. Respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain compliance with operational, regulatory, and internal procedures. Participate in daily meetings and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations. Manage potentially sensitive customer data with confidentiality and adherence to policies. Desired Skill-Set Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivots, and macros. 2-3 years of banking or financial experience, preferably in mutual fund operations. Strong understanding of FundServ and related transaction systems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Tech-savvy, with an ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems. Detail-oriented with high accuracy in a high-risk environment. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Nice to Have Experience with trade settlements and related processes (CDS/DTC). Canadian Securities Course (CSC) designation or similar certifications. Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the financial industry. Previous experience working in a team environment with a focus on operational excellence.
