We are seeking a full-stack programmer to join the core technologies (Core Tech) team. Core Tech is responsible for developing a wide range of initiatives, including in-game features, out-of-game applications, and both backend and frontend services that support and enhance Behaviour games. To help us achieve our long-term strategic goals, we are looking for a candidate who can integrate into the team and actively contribute to a range of initiatives under the guidance of senior teammates. The ideal candidate should have a foundation in both frontend and backend web technologies and a drive to grow their skills. Knowledge of C++ and game development is a plus. In this role you will : Contribute to backend and frontend features. In collaboration with your teammates, you will work on new systems and refactor existing systems, working on a wide variety of features that are fast, secure, and scale well to millions of daily active users. Fix bugs. Core tech services evolve constantly, and bugs come with the territory. You will help investigate and resolve issues of varying complexity, from simple fixes to harder to reproduce critical issues. Help optimize both performance and memory. You will be exposed to perfomance issues and help profile features, detect bottlenecks, and optimize them. Test. You will write unit tests, functional tests, and load tests to ensure the robustness and the quality of the features you are working on. Work with your peers. You will work with fellow programmers, tech leads, and managers on the Core Tech team, as well as programmers and developers in other disciplines on game production teams or publishing teams. Most features require working closely and collaborating with members of other teams. What we're looking for : 3 years of experience as a full-stack developer. Experience in the gaming-industry is a plus. Versatility. You're comfortable working across the stack: frontend and backend, features and bugs, high-level and low-level code. Experience in C++ or game development is a big plus. Experience with databases. You're familiar with non-relational (NoSQL) database technologies like DynamoDB. Relational database knowledge like MySQL is a plus. Exposure to NodeJS, Typescript, web frameworks (React), and AWS services is a big plus; A collaborative, solution-oriented attitude and a drive to learn.
