Production Assistant – Part-Time Location: Richmond, BC Work Location: In person Job Type: Part-time, Pay: CA$18.25 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday; specific days and hours are open for discussion based on availability and business needs. About the Role We are looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Production Assistant to join our team in Richmond, BC. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day production and business operations, including the preparation and assembly of trophies and medals, engraving and printing, inventory management, purchasing, and customer service. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, good communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Assist with the production, preparation, and assembly of trophies, medals, and related products. Assist with engraving, printing, and other customization requirements. Ensure products are prepared accurately and meet quality standards. Assist with organizing and maintaining production materials, tools, and supplies. Monitor inventory and notify the Manager when materials or supplies need to be reordered. Assist with preparing purchase orders and communicating with vendors as required. Receive, organize, and maintain raw materials and other supplies. Provide friendly and professional customer service to walk-in customers. Answer and assist with customer inquiries received by phone, email, or other communication channels. Communicate regularly with the Manager regarding production requirements, customer requests, and daily tasks. Assist the Manager with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. Identify opportunities to improve production processes and communicate suggestions to the Manager. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in production, manufacturing, retail, customer service, or a similar environment is an asset. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic computer skills are an asset. Previous experience with engraving, printing, trophies, medals, or similar products is an asset but not required.
